Below is a selection of recordings made at The Hitchin Priory. These recordings were made on the Sunday afternoon, what a great sound they made after only meeting that weekend.

Sing for Fun

by Amanda Frawley

Sing for fun, on the run.
Day night noon, if not in tune.
Take the time, find the rhyme.
Sing out loud, sing out proud.
Feeds the soul, fills the hole.
Beats depression and recession.
If you make, a mistake.
No-one moans, no-one stares.
No-one groans, no-one cares.
Sing for fun, everyone.
In a group, join the loop.
It wasn't me, who sang off key.
There's no pressure,
Sing at leisure.
No audition, no rejection.
All one voice, make the choice.
Sing for fun, everyone.

This poem was written by
Amanda Frawley who attends the Basingstoke workshop.

Hold the Tune and Pitch it Right

Part Day Workshop

Ladies Only

2.00pm to 5.00pm

2nd May 2010

£25.00 pp Inc Tea and Coffee

Do you have trouble pitching notes?

Do you find that sometimes the note you’re singing is not
necessarily the same note that everyone around you is singing?

Maybe you start singing and then find you are jumping an octave
(lower or higher) to try and keep in tune.

Maybe are you fine until you have to use your upper register?

If so then this is the workshop for you.

Discover skills and techniques to help you stay in tune and open up your vocal range.

This workshop is tailored to suit the female voice.

Maximum 15 Participants
